Rev. Dr. Pearl Gyamera migrated to the USA in 1999. Due to her passion for Counseling, after 10 years; she started studying to become a Counselor. She continued to support Orphans and widows Ghana West Africa, something she did before her migration to the USA. She sends money to buy food for these orphans and widows, ships used clothes and shoes from the USA to be distributed to them as well as pay the school fees for some of the orphans.

In 2009, when she completed her first counseling course, known as Creation Therapy her life was transformed and she had a strong burden to take this course to Ghana in particular and Africa as a whole. As she prayed about it a name and a scripture dropped into her spirit, which was Mind Renewal International (MRI) and Romans 12:2 and James 1:27. She started making plans and researching how to start the school in the USA and Ghana/Africa as she the orphans and widows.

In 2014, she graduated with a PhD a major in Clinical Christian Counseling with a minor PhD in Christian Education from the Corner Stone University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After Her PhD she went ahead to complete the necessary credentials to become a Clinical Supervisor and Certified Academic Institution with the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA), and an International Representative and Instructor with the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling (SACC). This achievement will enable her to run the Creation Therapy Course and all the Christian Counseling Course to the PhD level in the USA and Ghana/Africa.

By the end of 2015 she had four students in the USA take the Creation Therapy Course. In 2016, she started the first Creation Therapy Course in Ghana West Africa with 11 students of 1 medical doctor, two reverend ministers, one university lecturer, three Church elders and four ministers. All training subsidized by her personal finances.

In 2016, with the help and encouragement from Mr. Charles Owiredu-Gyamera, Rev. Dr. Jamillah Mantilla, Mr. and Mrs. Ofosu-Koranteng, Dr. Yiadom Boakye Danquah and Mrs. Benedicta Kumassah, we created a board and registered Mind Renewal International (MRI) as 501 (c) (3) organization and a Certified Academic Institution with NCCA and SACC with the credentials to train counselors to the PhD level. The head office of the organization is in Centennial, Colorado, branch offices in Manalapan New Jersey and Ghana West Africa. The organization is also registered as non-profit in Ghana West Africa.
